It seems hard for me to believe that I have been in the Mortgage Industry now for over 45 years. Where has the time gone???
I started out as a realtor in 1979 in Stockton, Ca and then moved over to lending in 1981. I have done everything from working for a Bank to being a partner in a large mortgage company in the Bay Area. I was broker to 7 branches while still being one of the top producing loan agents for the company. I have owned my own mortgage company without partners and now work for a Direct lender, First Colony Mortgage, and am focusing solely on Reverse mortgage financing.
I have been arranging Reverse mortgages now since 2015 and absolutely love it!!! Getting a reverse loan is a life changing event for most of my clients, and I love that I get to be part of that improvement in their lives. A reverse loan is not for everyone, but for those that take the time to understand what it truly is and incorporate it into their retirement plan, it is a wonderful improvement!!! A reverse loan is a totally different loan than a traditional loan, so, if you are considering getting one, I hope you will consider connecting with me. On the personal side, I have been married to my husband, Bryan, now for 42 years. I only have one child and that is my husband. I just recently lost one of my dear sisters to cancer. She exemplified courage and strength and lived it with a smile and always a thought for other people. She will be deeply missed. I am very close with my remaining 4 younger sisters, and we get together every summer for a sister reunion. We are spread out a bit, so we spend most of the time texting each other on our sister group text. It certainly does help bridge the gap between where we all live. I also have 10 nieces and nephews and now 5 great nieces and nephews. I like to travel, garden, read and am addicted to watching movies!! I also LOVE the water and think I must have been a fish in another life. I also adore my Coton dog, Callie. She adds so much enjoyment to my life!!!
